Apartment Fire Destroys Unit
Two units from the Renton Fire Department responded to the single-alarm call and quickly extinguised the blaze.
Officials estimated the loss at $65,000. |

An early morning fire destroyed
a single unit of the Cypress Pines Apartments, located on Sunset Drive,
Renton. Unknown cause. The resident of the unit was able to move to another
unit in the complex which was vacant. The American Red Cross provided additional
assistance to the victim.
