[1] Cases opened include those reported on Form 5266, Disaster Operations Control, through the Client Assistance System (CAS) and from Western Union.

[2] Workers include spontaneous volunteers, chapter volunteers who have never volunteered in Disaster Services, DSHR members and paid chapter and NHQ staff.

[3] As people enter the program through shelter closures, other people are departing because they are making the transition to longer-term housing.
