SUMMIT Fire Fighter Survey, Seattle Fire Fighters

During February and March of 1998, SUMMIT conducted a survey of Seattle's Fire Fighters.  Although it was challenged as being scientifically inaccurate, intimidating and biased, the survey took an accurate snapshot at a period in time.  Seattle's Fire Fighters responded beyond our expectations and told us what was on their collective and individual minds.

The resulting tally of the survey may be found > HERE <

Pre-Incident Survey Program

Formerly known as the 'prefire program,' this is a computerized program which allows fire fighters to have a layout of a building before arriving on the scene.  The prefire program was a result of the Pang Warehouse fire, in which four Seattle fire fighters lost their lives.
